Puppet Ministry
Our large mouth puppets help us to share the gospel in song and action. We have shared the Christian message through puppetry in many places, including a number of school assemblies. The puppets also pop up in Mount Zion Church from time to time, usually for special occasions.
Each year we have some regular bookings. 2026 has seen the puppeteers give open air performances in Kilmacolm, Greenock, and at an outdoor fun day in Govan organised by the Glasgow City Mission nursery school. We look forward to taking part in a regular Christmas event at Barnards Court Mission, along with other places.
Child Protection
Coming from a village which was built to meet the needs of vulnerable children, we aim to provide a safe and secure environment for all children who come. Our Child Protection Policy is available on request. All adults who lead our youth ministry have disclosures for their roles from Volunteer Scotland.
Beyond our Village
We support the work of Inverclyde Youth for Christ and Scripture Union sharing the gospel with young people across Inverclyde and beyond.
Pastor Andy has volunteered at a Scripture Union summer camp on Arran for several years.
Several church members volunteer at the weekly Youth for Christ Dare 2 Hope cafe in Port Glasgow for high school pupils.
