We believe that Mount Zion Church should be a House of Prayer
(Mark 11:17)
The Word of the Lord in recent days, has been that this Church should fulfil and facilitate this ministry in greater measure.
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.” Matthew 7:7-8
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.” Philippians 4:6
The prayer and bible study meetings on Wednesdays (7pm) and Fridays (10am) are the hub of our life here at Mount Zion.
These two core meetings have been at the heart of our life of worship for many years. We truly believe that as we call upon the Lord, He will hear and answer prayer, and pour the Holy Spirit afresh upon people.
We pray God’s blessing on Quarriers Village and the surrounding area. We believe God’s promise in 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” (NIV)
We also believe that God is able, by His Holy Spirit, to bring healing into our lives today.
We are happy to pray for healing in the name of Jesus for anyone who comes to the church with physical, spiritual or emotional needs. If you would like to come for prayer for any reason, please contact us.
It is our Church policy that Pastor Andy will meet with you alongside another member of the congregation.
